Winter is Coming

Hi Everyone!
So yes, the title of this post is a Game of Thrones reference.  Aaron and I just finished binge watching all six seasons. We were super behind on this but loved it and are patiently waiting until June for the seventh season.  I have never watched a show that plays with your emotions quite like this one. I go from being sad to laughing to angry all in a matter of two minutes.  It definitely keeps you on your toes.  Now I need recommendations for new shows for us to watch.  One of our ways of saving money is not having cable.  This was actually a pretty hard thing for me to give up.  I love channel surfing and finding something on the TV that you didn’t even know you wanted to watch.  Also, one of my favorite shows in the world is Good Morning America.  I get my world news, pop news, and a little dose of humor to start my day, but now I cannot watch it and I am having withdrawals.  So, we are sticking to Netflix and Hulu and we might be switching to just one of those providers, we haven’t decided yet.  So, we need a new show! Preferably one that is completely finished so we are not stuck waiting on the next season, but any good show will do. Suggestions are welcomed!
Today, Aaron is gone ALL day long.  He has his chemistry honors fraternity inductions tonight and he is probably not going to be home until after 9. (Yes I married quite the nerd!)  So while he works and leaves me home un-supervised, I cannot help it if the apartment is decorated for Christmas by the time he comes home tonight.  Like I said, winter is coming and I like to stretch the Christmas season out as long as I can. If he had his way, Christmas decorations would not go up until after the start of December and come down before New Year’s.  I will save most of the ornaments for us to decorate the tree together, but I will probably put everything else up!  Once I have the apartment the way I like it, I will put some pictures up in a blog post.  I also plan on ordering our Christmas cards today.  (Little sale alert: shutterfly.com has a 50% off photo books, 40% off stationary, and 30% off everything else code that ends tonight!)  I am just ready for the holidays, there is so much to look forward to!  Be on the lookout for my Frugal Friday post, I am going to start working on it today, and since Thanksgiving is next week, I am going to share my thoughts on Black Friday!

So Aaron is gone all day and I cannot watch Good Morning America anymore?  “It’s Fine!” because I’m not cooking tonight and I get to decorate for Christmas early! Until next time…
